I don't think the "twincest" you speak of is as common as you would make out. It does occur but to say it is "extremely common" is taking things a bit far.

I am half of identical twins. My bro is also gay. Although we are very close and very open with each other, we have never had any form of sexual contact. Our research has infromed us about twins having sexual relationships and we have discussed the matter quite openly. It was something we mutaully decided was just not on.

And yes, we do have our own language, patois as we call it. It is a mixture of Thai, English and words which have no meaning except to us, e.g. ushion = sugar. We also use common phrases like "never on Sunday" which means their is a danger we may be overheard. It drives our parents nuts!

I have an identical twin but we never messed around, it would be like having sex with yourself. We are very close and have a special bond, but he is straight, if he was gay it may be a different story
 
The idea of even seeing my brothers naked makes me feel like hurling a bit. I imagine its pretty close to the same for twins.
 
i wouldn't have sex with my older brother. he doesn't look much like me, a lot shorter and fatter, but i would imagine i'd feel the same way about my twin. He's my brother and i love him but i can't imagine it being anything but awkward and wierd.
 
I have an older brother and although we're not twins, you can tell we're brothers. People have always commented on how much alike we look. But we've never done anything sexual. At least not since knowing better. When we were kids we did the typical "playing doctor" thing, just sorta checking each other out, but kids do that sometimes. It never escalated into anything else.

Although I don't know what I would do in this situation, I really don't see the distinction between a brother (or any other relative) and any other human.

If you really step back and think about this, why does the fact that 2 men share the same biological parents prevent them from loving each other the same way any other 2 male human beings could? Isn't this the same rationale that is preventing gay marriages across this country - because too many think that it is 'morally' wrong? In this situation, what is really 'wrong'? You may have been brought to think this way, or you may have developed this opinion on your own. But please give me the facts on why this is 'wrong' without bringing in moral issues or personal feelings so I can see things differently.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm using this logic only to apply to two adults who have the mental capacity to be able to make this kind of decision.

I have always thought that if I had a twin, or even just a brother, maybe it would have been cool to do a little "practice". I wouldn't want a full-blown sexual relationship though - just messing around like with a friend. However, I have never thought about it like this before:
