I say Haiti because I've got a personal connection... my grandfather devoted the last half of his life to doing missionary work there.

I'd found a new high quality university to educate the brightest minds for the future. It will also have one of the best stocked libraries anywhere. I'd practically live in there and there would be a private penthouse suite on the top floor and my helicopter parked on the helipad nearby.

I'd buy Africa and boot everyone out of it so I could fix it properly.

I would donate a lot of money for HIV prevention.

You just need to convince people to wear condoms, and a large chunk of the work is done. See earlier comment re fixing Africa.


Seriously, though, I don't really know. Beyond paying off family debts and friends' debts and setting myself up with lodgings in a few lovely places in different parts of the world and some good investments which would last no matter what happened to the world's economy (aka two tons of gold ingots, stashed strategically in hidden locations), I'd give the rest of it away - but probably to research in key areas, as opposed to charities.

Hmm, I was just thinking, if I have 100 billion dollars and I don't give my family a single cent, I am sure they will automatically forget me. This way, I would save myself 10 billion dollar.

I'd start my own business or become a real estate magnate.

I'd take a good chunk and invest it in a political action committee directed at countering America's collapse toward glorifying ignorance and stupidity and cheapness.

I'd pay off our house, get a Jeep Wrangler and Audi A5, and give some money to friends & relatives for them to invest in themselves.

I'd give to the best charities that know how to spend and invest money well.

And I'd buy JUB and make everyone's avatar Justin Bieber. Just because I can.

Paid off all my bills. buy a me a nice house in the country. Large but simple in style. Donate to my favorite charities and volunteer in serving others. But worry about the people I have not seen in a while who know I have money now.
