These sort of threads are just a popularity contest. seriously, think how many people have an account on this forum and then look through the thread....it's the same 7 names over and over.

They CAN be a popularity contest if you turn them into one. To wit, if you tally up who got the most mentions. But I like seeing people's responses even if they don't mention me. I'm interested in how people interact, in how they respond to people, in how they "click" with each other, in what they look for. I even find the "nobody mentioned me so fuck everybody" responses interesting, if a bit exasperating.

OK, maybe I can start a list. As always, incomplete because I've got a crappy memory and I'm going to forget some really obvious JUBbers that I shouldn't, and I'll feel terrible about it.

I want to mention them here so people won't think I'm dissing them when I don't mention them later.

I've always thought it'd be interesting to have coffee or lunch with Jasun. I'm not sure why that is. I really don't care about his job much, but he seems like he'd be an interesting guy to chat with for about an hour. Maybe I'm wrong, but at least I'd find out.

There are a few JUBbers who live behind their avatars quite a bit, but despite that, I've grown to like them and connect with them on some level.

There are also a host, a lot, a shit-ton of JUBbers that may not have made this list, but that doesn't mean I hate you, don't know you, don't care about you, anything like that. If the opportunity comes that we might meet, I'd probably be down for it. Let me know next time you're in Denver.

I say the same thing, except in my case "Let me know next time you're in west-central Ill-Noise." Not that anybody is likely to just get here by passing through because this is deep flyover country, haha

Truly, I'm 100% on GLex's "page" here...and on my original post I mentioned Jasun [SOILWORK] first...he can definitely be an "in your face" kinda guy, but what he has said almost always makes good sense. I've met a good cross section of the JUB'bers I've always wanted to meet, though only one from across any oceans - ChickenGuy - who would definitely be on this list if I hadn't met him.

I've written to so many guys here over the years... some of them come an go.
But if I had the opportunity to meet a JUB person, well I"d have to list three.. and not for sex.. just to have a chance to talk with them, share a drink or three... and talk.. get to know them a bit better than through writing.
1.. Elvin1 I've always liked his ability to write.. and we used to write often.. but things change, still he is an interesting guy.
2. Kester from Australia.. he is a very likeable guy. we stopped writing long ago, but I still a hold him in high regard.. he is a damned good guy.
3.. DBase from Bulgaria . name is Stan. he is a reporter for a sports magazine that covers soccer.. He is a sports nut and he writes English far better than I do. He is handsome and such a damned good man. He has traveled all over the USA, not sure if he still has his gallery pics up, but if he does you should check them out.. he takes excellent pictures of beautiful places he's been in the USA as well as in Europe.
I could add another one or two but the OP said just say to mention one.

Depends on how often you frequent the forum. I've never been mentioned in any of these threads despite being on here in various incarnations for several years. *Shrugs* Doesn't phase me...
