Just to update. We raised about 50k last Saturday. Thanks to your kind thoughts, I was even more motivated to deliver an appeal that made people in the audience weep...and not just because they wanted my presentation to end. I owe it all to all of you. Muchas smoochies.

Now I'm on to raise money for another charity to support educational opportunities on Friday and Saturday. I want to see mascara run and grown men sobbing.

Remember, November and December are such an important time for most charities. Many raise 50% of their entire annual giving donations in these two months. No matter what your favourite cause is...whether it is $10 or $1 million...please give to the organization of your choice. It still isn't too late to meet me at the Oyster Bar.

Well Possums,

The weekend was a great success..we made our pitch for a $3.5 million dollar seed fund for education and had a great lunch at the Oyster Bar...so disappointed that so many couldn't make it...notice too short, I guess.

We are exhausted after the weekend...but wanted to just mention for those in NYC:

-Make sure to get to Greely Square...great lobster roll and Arancini at the food fair booths.

We raised lots of dollahs, met some really great people and had a wonderful weekend.
