Well Mikey, the sad fact is that all the superficial JUBbers feel better about you now too and are much more disposed to listen to what you have say.

I'm sorry to say that I have only my headless torso as my avatar. Those JUBbers with their faces as avatars and/or in their personal profiles are the Real JustUsBoys Heroes as far as I'm concerned.

I give them much more attention and time. And I'm finding more and more that I can't be bothered with the faceless ones. There are only a few faceless JUBbers who have sufficient personality for me to distinguish who is who— and I don't won't to play Agatha Christie each time I open their posts. ;)

However, I have used my own face as an avvy on and off here, under my various incarnations ... but the sight of my hideously gurning visage gawping out at me from the threads tended to put me off posting ... hence my current avvy which I shall probably continue to use for as long as I am here.
 
And folks one of the reasons I started this thread apart from sheer curiosity is that I am thinking of putting an avatar up and am undecided on whether it should be me or not. So, I am seeking some opinion from the community based on theirs to sorta sway me one way or the other. So shih tzu there is a reasoning behind my thread..
