The Road Not Taken...every room would be decorated in a different style from country to contemporary to art deco and everything in between. There would be very seperate spaces for different types of unwinding. Very quiet spaces for being reflective and centering, areas for quiet socializing with others perhaps with a glass of wine and shared conversation. Other areas meant for louder entertaiment with great DJ's and video. Of course the obligitory hook up space because men can't seem to keep it in their pants.
A couple of great places to eat from light fare to full on fine dining. A jazz lounge, A full spa with everything from hair to nails to skin.
Aplace where any gay man could go,leave the outside world at the doorstep and not want to leave until the stay was over.

I'd like to set up a "D&B" - a "dinner and bed" rather than a "bed and breakfast". I mean, seriously - when you're on vacation, who wants to get up early and have breakfast? Wouldn't you rather have a late-ish homemade dinner, go to bed late, and sleep 'til however late you'd want? I'd kick checkout time back until at least noon, and push check in time back to 5 or so.
Smallish. Every room a different decor.

It will be composed of nice cabins individually secluded deep in the woods. They'll be far enough apart from one another that you can make ANY sound you like without disturbing other guests. Strictly secluded, there'll be no phones, TV, or other intrusions from the outside world - except room service of course. Each cabin will be connected to other features and amenities by a wooded trail that takes them to a new form of diversion and pleasure - The Treasure Trail.

A friend of mine in Mexico City inherited a huge fortune when his mother died, and I was trying to convince him to open a gay bed and breakfast in Cuernavaca or Oaxtepec. (He wanted to buy property in Beverly Hills instead and did, but that's another story.) I had already selected some Zapotec designs that I wanted to use for a tile mosaic in the bottom of the pool. I told José that I wanted to work in the hotel, but he told me that he did not want any of his friends to work and that if he bought the hotel, I could stay there for free. Too bad it didn't happen - José preferred to live in Los Angeles where he could be a bigger slut than in Mexico.
