It's been a while, but when I used to go I figured, I'm there to have fun. It's the one place where you don't need to "get to know" somebody, or even talk to them. Treat it like being a kid in a candy store.

So yeah, I would just stay till I got bored... which was usually around 4 in the morning. Bout the same time it is now actually....

I've never been to one in Asia BUT I know that there quite a number (legal and illegal ones) all around Asia. So whereabout are you?

A bath house is where guys go and relax and hookup with other guys anonymously for sex. Usually there are saunas, spas, and video rooms.

There's nothing wrong with releasing a little sexual tension. As long as you play safe and do more watching than touching, it's a fun escape from the real world in which most gay men have to "maintain an image". It's a great place to make casual friends or acquaintances, or just let loose with a stranger. Gay people are the last people to be saying that causal sex is immoral; not when we have most of the straight population saying that being GAY is immoral.
 
I'd say he's a sex addict or has been taking Viagara. He hasn't learned how to do sex properly because he's obviously not achieving satisfaction or satiation.

Probably an example of using sex as self-medication, and because meaningless gratification only aggravates the sense of separation at the core of his issues he needs increasingly larger doses to try and numb the pain.

I tried it once when I was in college just to see what it was like. I was young, naive, fairly sure I was gay, and thought a trip to the local bath house would confirm it. Talk about sensory overload! I think slobone used the analogy that it's like being a kid in a candy store and that's about right, but for me it was more like a starving child who was in need of a healthy meal and walks into the candy story instead. I don't think I would ever do it again, only because you don't know the guys you're hooking up with and there is a certain risk factor in that. I hooked up with one guy and had the sex of my life, but I knew absolutely nothing about the guy I had sex with. After walking away, I kept agonizing about contracting a STD or maybe even something worse. Luckily I didn't! I have since learned that I prefer the comfort of a loving monogamous relationship when I can get it and I now have that in my boyfriend Robert.

The only other thing I'm going to say on this topic is PLEASE practice safe sex!!!
 
You can practice safe sex in a bathhouse, and you can practice unsafe sex in your own bedroom. It's really up to you.

That sounds so sad....:(. But try to see if there is a local bathhouse in your area, trust me----that will change. EVERYONE gets some kind of sexual contact at a bathhouse eventually. I'm not the best looking guy in the world, and sometimes I'll go to one and not "get any", but I'll get off on watching others going at it. It's also a place that , if you go on a regular basis, you can meet and just hang out with other people. So, unless you're housebound there is no reason not to give it a try...|. Just remember to be safe.
