Because of how good or how bad?

Sorry - It was great! I loved the taste of that pizza, and it was a treat because usually I went home for lunch but once a month or so my Mom would give me money to have lunch at school.

I think that the JUB Dinner in ST. LOUIS ten nights ago, along with my delicious jaegerschnitzel, spaetzle and German fries will stick in my head for a while. Of course that's more than "just" the meal.

For "just" a meal, the seafood casserole I had in 2001 (a week after NineOneOne) at a Peruvian restaurant in Passaic NJ is one of my best meals ever.

I grew up in South Philadelphia. There was a chicken and ribs place that was just awesome. It was called Chicken Delight. I remember one particular time we got takeout and my cousin came over and ate more than I was willing to give her. hahaha

In Whitehorse, Yukon, there was a very rustic Pizza House that sold "Pizza & Dollars, All You Can Eat"

The dollars were small potatoes cut in slices 1/4 inch thick, dipped in spiced batter and deep fried. They would present that on a huge metal platter and a separate dish full of different pizza slices. There was a flat price for 1,2,3,or 4 persons. Oh and a huge jug of draft beer.

Outside the temperature was -40 F to -55 F but inside a honky tonk piano player.

I spend many an evening there with buds, waiting for our loaded Transport truckers to arrive from Vancouver with everything needed to live in the Yukon.

I have never tasted meals that were so filling and fun in my life.

Smack!(!) smack! (!) smack!(!)

My mother's holiday dinners when I was a child.

The pizza at our local pizza joint when I was a teenager.

Hot dog day at our high school cafeteria.

A champagne brunch at the Four Seasons in Houston with friends.

The best tuna salad sandwiches I've ever had, made by a friend in northern Virginia in the mid-70's.

my mom had a stroke and couldn't prepair the meal properly .OH my god HOW i learned my fam then.(she has sinced passed) DAMN

Stuffed Manicotti

My grandma used to make it for me on all of my birthdays... but she hasn't done it for quite a few years now... :(:(:(

It was a Chinese dish consisting of beef, crab, precious cloud ear fungus, straw mushrooms, oyster sauce, pea pods and a few other vegetables and secret ingredients. The taste was complex and exotic.

My Mum's Sunday roasts.

It was a Summer night in Cleveland, Ohio. About a dozen friends, guys and girls, headed for a Lake Erie beach. We built a camp fire, roasted hot dogs, and made "hobo" coffee (boiled grounds in a pan of water, with a dash of salt added). Someone had brought along a "Box" of wine, and there were some coolers of beer. There were also a few guitars. The moon was full, sparkling toward us over the water. And, though it was a bit on the cool side ... light jacket weather ... there also came the "dares" to go skinny dipping. The water was warmer than the air! ..|

I can still envision the fascination of droplets of water running down firm, teen/twenties bodies, scampering in the moon light! Luckily, someone had packed along some towels! But ... there was no sex (that I know of) that night. Just a visual Sharing of ourselves, kind of showing off, but no "more".

I have never since known hot dogs, coffee, wine, and beer, could taste so Good! Or marvel, so much, over the glow of Eileen's boobs, and teasing Dave about where his balls went!! (Even despite the fact I managed to cut my foot on something sharp!)

Ah! ... YOUTH!!! :hurray:(!w!)

I've had the pleasure of some awesomely amazing meals, in fairly exotic places, with some very "Powerful" people, since then. But that night still rates the top of my list!!

Keep smilin'!! "Kiss" "HUG"
Chaz ;-)

Chinese roasted duck breast which was "stuffed" with a deliciously savoury five spice taro filling. I've had it twice, at wedding banquets, and asked for it for my son's birth celebrations, however, it wasn't as good as the ones I had a couple of decades ago.

It depends on the chef I guess.
