This should make the pro-illegal-alient and anti-white bigots around here pretty happy:

Ah, New York! When will you secede? Please take California with you, BTW.

And your point is . . .?

I guess it's a victory that you'll acknowledge that you're just whining for the sake of whining, although the whole "anti-white" thing is lost on me.

I'm an immigrant and white.. so.. um.. you get that there's a lot of immigrants who aren't Mexican, right? That there are more countries in the world than America, Russia and Mexico?

It's always better to let them make your point for you.

Thanks, Guys! ..|

OK, let me guess. You're criticizing New York City for what a federal judge (perhaps appointed by a Republican, perhaps not) did? You're criticizing New York for actually violating a federal statute or regulation and, thus, applauding the federal judge for actually taking the statute or regulation seriously? Nah, that can't be it. Hmmm. You didn't actually read the article and assume the illegal immigrant is the happy beneficiary of liberal, New York largesse? That must be it. Glad I figured that one out.

From the article it does appear the guys rights under our laws were violated. I do however, believe that the "$145K" in damages is way too much. Guy breaks the laws of the city/state 3 times, and spends 1 month in jail and walks away after his case is settled with $145K back to his native country, I can't believe he's that upset after that.

I'm in no way saying being in jail for a month is a good experience but he was arrested and locked up for a reason. Instead of complaining about the results of something like this, it would be nice if the system would be changed to prevent this.

Hard to see the point here, other than pure cuntish whining.

Looks like the state didn't follow its own rules, so made good on it. I thought people who claim to be about following the law would think that was a good thing.

I further don't get the hating on CA and NY, other than a general dislike of American citizens.

I understand your displeasure in the situation, but yes it sucks. However, where do you expect people to drawn the line on liberties? Citizens or not, systems have some abuses, but where do you want to drawn the line? I anxious to know how you would go about it?

I always giggle at the people from the red states who hate on California and New York.

We pay their taxes, we pay for their roads and their schools. I really wish we could cut them off.

I guess my county and state taxes do nothing.

I don't particularly like Californians and NY'ers calling the rest of the country "fly-over" states. Fuck 'em. Take the taxes and secede. We'd be much better off.

Hell, at the rate we're going it's going to happen anyway.

Your county and states taxes do something, they probably just don't do enough.

I live in NYC, never heard anyone refer to "fly-over" states except talking heads in Washington.

Do you come from a state where a majority of the people didn't have electricity until the New Deal?

Depends on what state you live in.

Basically, there are a bunch of states that pay much more than our fare share and end up carrying other states that don't carry their own weight.

Trust me... if New York and California were to leave the Union, America would really get hit.

His point is . . . . .

$145,000 of taxpayers money for being an illegal alien

Except that's untrue.

No one was given money "for being an illegal alien". Someone was given money because his rights were violated, under our law, which shouldn't happen.

If he wasn't an illegal alien he wouldn't have even been here to accept the money.

And if our people had lived within our law he wouldn't have gotten anything.

In the US people have rights, even criminals, even legal visitors, and even illegal immigrants. Remember the word inalienable.
