Illinois Supreme Court overturns Jussie Smollett conviction for alleged hoax

Who?

I guess okay.

It is certainly the role of the SC's to uphold or overturn based on the merits.

But it is like picking a scab to care about this case.

How long do they want to drag this thing out? What has he been doing all this time?

My apologies, the video I posted was labeled as local television news, but that was in error.

Try this post:

As they note, it was a procedural issue that the court decided on...ie, that the second prosecution should not have been brought. Kind of like double jeopardy.

At the end of the day though, I suspect he still has no career ahead of him and is likely avoided by a lot of people who wouldn't trust his mental stability.

This was definitely one of those "This n word needs to learn his place" cases.

Cops lie every fucking day, on their own recorded videos, without even a whiff of consequences. The way people reacted to this case you'd think Jussie drowned a basket of puppies.

Notwithstanding, enduring a little racist hysteria was worth it if it meant the end of this delusional heaux's career. I'm not forgiving her for "I'm the gay Tupac."

He is guilty of race baiting regardless of any technicalities.

Being acquitted and being exonerated are two different things.

Smollett will be rightly stigmatized as much as any Karen or date drug rapist or MAGAtard.

He deserves his fate. He'll live out his life in the backwaters of shame, a used-to-be player.

It won't be mental defect he is shunned for, but moral turpitude.

They should charge Smollett with harassment for annoying me by being alive.
