So, I've been fevery and sick since monday morning and finally found out what i have today: Walking Pnumonia. YAAAY!!! how exciting, right? well, it's supremely sucks because i should be getting ready to be on stage tonight in Urinetown, but i can't because my fever keeps fluxuating and i have occasional terrible coughing fits. i just love being sick!


I'm just dripping with sarcasm if you can't tell.

I'm sorry you don't feel well. Rest as much as you can and don't stress yourself. Lung infections are serious so be sure to follow your doctor's advice.

Sorry you have to miss your show. However, with pneumonia you don't mess around. Plenty of rest and whatever else the Dr. says.

Any change in symptoms or how you're feeling, make sure to let the Dr. know.

Had the same thing. Doc told me to stay home and do NOTHING for 10 days minimum! Didnot listen to him at first was trying to work! Stupid thing to do. Got worse actually and was in bed more than the 10 days! There will be other days for your show. Get well mate!

But I've always wondered: why is it called walking pneumonia? I have a feeling you aren't walking around a lot with it. But if it makes you feel better, the great Peggy Lee suffered from walking pneumonia on a recurring basis. And if she could get through it all, so can you!



She looks (and acts) kinda funky in this concert, but remember that she was in well into her sixties and sick as a dog.

oh theatreboi....drink plenty of fluids (namely OJ or Water) to make sure the mucous is easier to cough up. Also for your fever....take some Tylenol for your fever...make sure it's the non drowsy kind. It should temperary relief the fever.
