Taking a solo trip to North America's biggest city. Any tips or recommendations? I'm trying to eat good, drink good, and completely hoe out.
 
Watch out for the Salamancas.

Remember the exchange rate. Mexicans are small, so you should be getting two-fers.
 
It's been 30 years since I was there. I loved it. But be careful what you eat and drink. I vomited in the bathroom of the Torre de las Americas.

So I'm your typical gringo tourist. But:

Go to a bakery. Mexico City bakeries have wonderful treats you won't regret.

Ride the Metro. The stations are interesting.

See the Ballet Folklorico at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The show and theater are both wonderful.

I will recommend taking Uber to get around, buy plenty of bottled water, (Don't Drink Water in Mexico.), Set Up Your Phone for Use in Mexico with a VPN, and don't Stress About Safety.

The Ancient Pyramids of Teotihuacan
The Floating Gardens of Xochimilco
El Palacio de Bellas Artes (The Palace of Fine Arts)
Chapultepec Park
