Idk, I was in a wierd mood today.. ALL Day.
I Wanted to tell my mom I Was gay for some reason. That thought never EVER came into my mind.
I thoguht about it though, then she'd tell her boyfriend. and i'd have to live in the hosue with them all knowing and him ATLEAST being awkward.
I was think maybe I should tell them when I actually have a guy friend whom can help me through, it seems kinda pointless right now though.

Hey Epic. First off, there's nothing wrong with you! You're going through what probably 98% of the guys on this site have gone through.

Good on you for coming out. It's a heck of a step, whether you do it online like this or to a single friend, a family member or place an ad in the newspaper.

The boyfriends will come. Give them 24-36hrs to get used to the idea that you're gay. Seriously, it'll happen and don't stress over that. It may not be for a month, or even a year, but get to know yourself fully until you you're ready to know someone else.

As for your statement that it seems "kinda pointless" to tell your Mum and her boyfriend until you have a boyfriend yourself? I'd dare to say bullshit to that

The point is for you to be open and happy with who you are And to be at peace with who you are. His discomfort is his problem, not yours. So what if your Mum tells her boyfriend? Will your legs drop off? Will you grow a 3rd eye? I think not.

It's a heck of a step to tell your family and people you love but then if they love you in return, they'll deal with it. Once again, it may not happen in 1 week or 1 month or even one year, but if they love you, it'll happen and you'll be accepted for who you are.

Go for it! Be good to yourself and just remember who the most important person is in all of the coming out process. And I don't think it's your Mum's boyfriend?

coming to terms with your orientation is different for everyone. don't stress it, just go with the flow. its almost like you have to retrain your mind to think differently. for the longest time you had to work with barriers erected to hide who you really are. just give it time.

I go through this phase where I feel like telling the world however never get around to doing it, two weeks ago was the worst but I did come out to my best freind and she was fine with it.
