"I'm going on an adventure!"

So is this a sort of anal fisting, lets explore the depths of my anus sort of adventure, or more I'm going to explore the world and travel sort of adventure???

And to the point of the question.....my partner and I used to come up with a surprise spur of the moment adventure to go on every few weeks. It could be something in the city or it could take us miles away for a few days.

As we accumulated cats, being spontaneous wasn't as easy...and while we now will surprise one another with an adventure...it is usually something booked about six months out.

An author once wrote, "an adventure is merely being in more trouble than you know how to deal with." Well, that's paraphrased a bit, but it is the general quote and therefore quotation marks.

hi

I have a terrible sense of direction, and every time we get into the car to go somewhere new, it's always an adventure. Sometimes we don't get to where we want to go, and just head back home for a nice hot home made cup of tea to soothe the nerves.

I am going to Paris, I remember the first time when it really was an adventure.

Yep, I love that. The more spontaneous (in a good way), the better. If we have journeys in mind, once I had a spontaneous escape (with no expectations) to London on my own and enjoyed time meeting new people there. In terms of relationships, previously being only a ladies man, I called out a nice guy on a date, which also turned out to be a great experience. :)

Wish you a positively memorable adventure, Thy! :)

My only real adventure was being in the wrong part of town, after dark.

Everyday can be an adventure if you're up for it. The biggest adventure I went on was when I was 23. In one week I broke up with a guy I really loved (we were not meant to live together), got fired from my job for telling off a nasty customer, someone hit my car and took off while it was parked in a rural area, and I had a horrible stomach bug. By the time Thursday rolled around, I said to myself "fuck this shit!" and got in my car, drove to the airport and flew on a whim to Aruba. Nobody knew until I called them from my hotel room. I had a blast by myself, rented a jeep and drove around the island. Met a really cute guy the second day I was there who was there with some college buddies, and he managed to score some amazing weed, and the 2 of us had fun exploring the island. I stayed 5 days then flew home happy & tan. Yeah, I had to pay the credit card bill, but it was more than worth it. Even now, I won't hesitate to go on an adventure. You don't have to spend a lot of money, or go very far, just get out of your rut. Otherwise what is the point of being alive? I've never heard of someone on their deathbed wishing they had spent more time at a job they hated.
