I recently noticed that IE6 isn't letting me access login for ebay and googlemail. I can use firefox fine, but it's irritating to find IE6 isn't working, it just says that

"Cannot find Server".

I'm not sure what's happened, and is there some IE setting that got changed or is it to do with the scripting in the pages, activex or wotnot?

Thanks in advance.
S.

Do you actually use IE6, or are you just testing with it? I don't know the answer to your problem, but as a web designer, I am very sad to hear that anyone uses IE6. It's the absolute bane of people in my profession. Please upgrade to IE7, for your sake if not ours!

No, I've got an old computer.

I've decided, yet again, to use the mallet approach. I've just reset the computer back to its factory settings. Startup was getting too slow anyhooo. Thanks guys.

Chrome - Firefox - Opera - Safari

NEVER use Internet Explorer or any other Microsoft software (includes Windows OS) EXCEPT Office :)

Even if you get Firefox (which I use, btw), you should still upgrade IE6 to IE7. Keeping IE6 on your computer is a security risk.
