Could be the winter blahs.

Turn on more lights. (Really! It helps.)

Put on some happy, peppy music.

Watch a TV show/film that you know will make you laugh.

Go outside and take a walk.

Find something to do helping someone else.

Think about the nice things people did for you in 2007.

Clean out your bureau/desk drawers and closet and toss out the stuff you don't use/want/need anymore.

I'd give you a real one, but I don't even know where Clermont is..... :(

One of my favorite song lyrics:

"They call us lonely, but we're really just alone."

Work on getting to that point. Where you enjoy your company so much that being lonely isn't such a bad thing. Not only will you be happier, but you'll tend to attract more friends that way. Or so I've found myself. :)

Good luck. ..|

"When you're down and out, lift up your head and shout...." OH SHIT!
You really aren't alone even though you feel "lonely" for the nonce. I think Paul Williams expressed my view with "rainy days & mondays always get me down...." This too shall pass. (*8*) (*8*)
