What the hell is going on now? What's so special about Obama? Inspiring? Charismatic? I just don't see any of it. If he gets nominated I would rather go vote for McCain.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

Lmao. The Hillary stans are all mad and sad.

Voting for McCain, a new low.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

Obama motivates young people, which impresses older people.

maybe

Or, perhaps people want a breath of fresh air from the status quo, which he seems to provide.

I will await your fellow Clinton fans attacking you since they have insisted that Democrats must vote for the Democratic nominee

Must be tough when your candidate loses everywhere by historic levels

is it time for Hillary to drop out yet to unify the party - or is that just a one way thing?

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

You may be disappointed, but millions more are ecstatic. Take heart, Clinton supporter, the primary is not over yet. Too bad you express a willingness to vote for McCain. Many people accuse Obama supporters of being willing to do the same thing if Clinton is the nominee.

Don't hold your breath on that one baby :rotflmao:

Its ok to feel disappointed. Its natural. I support Obama, but I really want everyone to show respect for the Clintons. I believe in graciousness in victory.

As for McCain, Obama's vote total was more than all the GOP candidates combined. Obama also won independents over McCain. I think Virginia goes blue for Obama in the general.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

Isn't Virginia typically a blue state anyway? Same with MD, and D.C.

For the Senator from NY, in 2012 when President Obama and Senator Clinton are cruising for re-election to their various offices, it will be a good day

Mad and sad, I don't think so. Concerned and worried about the qualifications of our next President, youbetcha.

'Cause we all know how well "qualifications" worked out last time around.

What's so special about Obama??? "What's so special about Hillary?" is more like it. What's the attraction with her? Is it because she's a woman?? Sure. Why not. That's the only reason her other supporters are drawn to her campaign.

I guarantee you if Hillary Clinton was a man and did not have the last name Clinton ... there would be no buzz about her whatsoever. Kind of sad really where we have the people in this country wanting to vote for someone because of gender.

I must say though, her being a Clinton seems to have hurt her campaign as much as it's helped it. She has much more history for the press/opponents to drudge up than Obama.

I think your sarcasm and dismissal of the Clintons' experience is not very convincing. What exactly makes you believe so strongly in Obama's credentials? Please try harder to convince me; it will be good for the country to continue this debate intelligently.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

I was dissappointed too in the results. The great thing is that we have 2 great candidates out there and whichever one get's the nomination, we need to support so that we don't get another republican administration.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

Just for the record, I do NOT have a problem at all in having President Clinton assisting his wife in her job, should she win. I think the man is brilliant and has a heart of gold, two things we desperately need in the White House.

Re: I'm so dissapointed at tonight's primary resul

What White House experience does Hillary have other than enduring the humiliation of l'affair Bill and Monica? Hillary has 8 years in Congress, only 4 more than Obama, and that same Congress has lower poll ratings than George Bush. I do not support either Hillary or Obama but a majority of Democrats are voting for Obama in the primaries. After Bill Clinton showed his ass by attacking Obama in South Carolina, many Dems decided Hillary was part of the D.C. establishment and would continue the old, failed policies of the establishment. To quote the NY Times, "“It’s odd that the first woman with a shot at becoming president is so openly dependent on her husband to drag her over the finish line. She handed over South Carolina to him, knowing that her support here is largely derivative.” The Clintons have screwed themselves.

Hey morons now want qualifications now that a black man is running and he might win.

Bush's lack of qualifications didn't unnerve people one bit because Bush is white.

A black candidate has to be doubly qualified.

Good person, I suggest if you think about that long enough, you'll see why that is killing her campaign.
