that school desks were all bolted to the floor in need rows of seven or eight in a striaght row, and the seat I sat on was attached to the front of the desk top and storage of the student behind me, and my desktop was attached to the seat of the girl in front of me.

Each desk had an inkwell hole with a bottle of ink in it which was used when we practiced our penmanship with a dippy pen with a nib on it. That was well and good until I got really pissed off at the little blond girl in front of me, so I cut her right side blond pig tail off and dipped it into my ink well. Oh my, did I get into big trouble.
