If I wanted a copy of something I had to scrape it into stone! We didn't have paper back then, or writing utensils, or tools of any kind.

ISOIR Bonanza as the 1st (& for awhile) only color TV show

Saturday being "movie night" on NBC.

NYC having only 7 TV stations. NO such thing as PBS.

Going to the movies (with my mom) to see Gone With the Wind. (1959) Every few years it was rereleased, & it made tons of $$. It was finally shown (on 2 nights) on network TV in 1977 or 78.

Seeing Psycho in the movies (with my sister) & NOT knowing the ending.

Rock & Roll music only on AM radio. FM was "long hair" music & talk shows. Not the garbage of today, actually intellectual talk.

Air raid drills in school. Down to the ground floor, sitting against the wall. Realizing as I got older, that living 9 miles west of NYC, that no wall could ever have protected us

ISOIR rabbit ears on the TV. No cable. And tin foil to improve reception

ISOIR sneezing in the primordial ooze that covered the Earth and life forming out of it.
