I'm thinking of getting my ear pierced

I would go with the right if you are just doing one --and you are out at work. I have had my left one pierced for over twenty years and the right one for just and year.


Btw--both my nipples are completely healed after two and a half months--a full year sounds way to long--I would check with a doctor and forget the advice from the piercing studios.
 
I have two cartilage piercings in my left ear and my left nipple pierced (coincidence, I swear!). They didn't hurt at all and I've got rings through all of them.

If you want it done, go for it. You can always take it out if you decide you don't like it.

I, too, had to give up my earrins because of work, and I really miss wearing it.
