I'm trying to live to 108 years old

Well the women in my birth family live a long time like 100 but the men not so much. I recommend lots of super food fruits and veggies and multi grains, little complex carbs and proteins. Take a 1000MG fish oil pill with every meal, a daily COQ10 300mg pill, and a multivitamin with moderate exercise. Also keep your brain active learnings and with activities.

All good advice thank you :)

Although I have not found conclusive studies on COQ10 I know it diminishes with age.

Dropping grudges and forgiving people seem like good ideas and not stressing would be terrific!

^ Wouldn't that make life rather shorter... oh, wait, you mean make it so boring it would seem eternal.

I really don't believe there is a secret to extra years. Look at most people who lived long lives and you are not likely to find many vegan or vitamin takers.

My husbands grandmother died the end of 2019 at the age of 109. She was Greek, so she ate a lot of Mediterranean diet but she ate what she wanted. She loves sweets and ate them everyday. Anything chocolate suited her. She got us hooked on dark chocolate covered pecans and walnuts. She was sharp to the end and took no medications. She never attributed her long life to anything she did. She considered life the gift she was given. Both her mother and grandmother liver over 100 years, too.

^ Where did she live, what where her routines... could she easily adapt (and survive) to a change of entourage and habits?

A lot of my Dads side of the family lived to the 100 mark and pretty much lived on Pierogies, sour cream and beer. :)

Ok so thanks for the replies.

Here is my tip. Stay as active as possible. I dont sit much and force myself to keep moving. I only sleep about 5 hours per night. I will sleep when I'm dead.

It so seems very clear that the secret lies in slowly embalming yourself while still alive, and mastering the formula that best suits you: alcohol, like in the case of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, seems a pretty generally preferred ingredient.

You mean I have been following your secret lately?

If someone asked an opinion that nobody wants to know  I think I prefer a long fresh posterity over a long log life.

The literally stupidest thing one human can do with one's human life is to just stay there alive

Don't worry belamo. You will stay looking 70 for a long time

My Mom and Dad would spend an entire day making pierogies. They did potato and cheese and they made a cabbage filling using fresh sauerkraut.

They would drain the sauerkraut and saute it with onions and minced bacon. As well as salt & pepper with some ground caraway and a few pinches of sugar. Browned them in butter and served with sour cream. So good.

I dated a girl who's Grandmother would do dessert pierogies with fruit fillings. Fresh peach filling was so good. Browned in butter again and at Christmas served on these huge oval platters with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. As if there wasn't enough sugar. So good.

If I really have to live much longer, I will be satisfied if my insides, bones to viscera, would freeze at my current 70-year-old condition

And that, without those annoying embalming chemicals and alcohols
