Here's a question I could only ask here...I'm planning to buy one of the new iMacs with the built-in webcam, and I'm wondering about the camera angle. I know it's designed to show your face, but sometimes when I cam I have the lens of my current (non-built-in) webcam focused somewhat lower :-D Can you point the iMac screen down enough to let the cam see your cock, and still be able to see the screen? I'm worried that since the cam itself isn't adjustable, I won't be able to watch someone else while I'm pointing it at my cock.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there an accessory somewhere that uses mirrors or something to get a different angle without having to change the screen angle?

Like I said, it's a question I could only ask here. Thanks!

I do not know if this will help you out or not, but most Apple Cinema Displays, (I have a 21" display), does pivot enough to just show your cock if needed, with no head or upper body parts showing, so I am assuming he imac is the same......and since the iMac is an all-in-one computer, and is 'portable' because of its stand, you could also move the whole thing closer to the edge of the desk!

Saw the new aluminum and glass iMacs at the Apple store last week! Monitor blew m away! New keyboard as also very cook and I liked the action on the keys!

Ummm, my new MacBook screen tilts and if I can ever figure out how to to webchat I might be able to salvage my relationship over 1500 miles......

I think you'll find it will work, the cam does point down any way. Great question though. You can of course use your old webcam on the mac using the macam driver. It seems to support a good range of cameras.

U could always buy another cheap monitor or use your existing one

Use iChat and connect via yahoo IM.

I would have never have thought of that question until I was home getting my new iMac out of the box. Damn you're a good thinker!! Sorry not to have an answer for you though.

Thanks to those who tried to answer my actual question, which was about the angle of the screen necessary on the iMacs in order to point it down at your lap--if you do that, can you still see a cam image onscreen clearly, without much distortion? I don't care what client you use, that's not the point.

C'mon, there's no one out there reading this who has cam sex using an iMac with the built-in webcam? No one who can testify that this will really work, and the angle of the screen, necessary to point the camera correctly, is still OK for viewing a cam window?

So I set up my new 24" iMac today, and...the answer is NO. It tilts down a bit, but not far enough. This is VERY disappointing. Trawler69, you said it works fine. Have you found some way to point it down at your cock? Because the best I can get is maybe my chest. To see anything lower, I have to be maybe 2 arm-lengths away from the computer, which is ridiculous. Do you have your computer unusually low to the ground? Because I can't figure out ANY way to make this work.

I even thought about rigging a mirror somehow on top of the iMac, tilted to show a lower angle. There doesn't seem to be anything for sale like that--the only thing I found was a gizmo called a "Huckleberry" that a) only shows the opposite side of your monitor and b) only works with MacBooks & MacBook Pros.

Has anyone found a solution for this, other than buying a separate webcam that's adjustable???

i have the solution buy like 3 more webcams and get them all doiing differant angles it will be like 24 and then you could have a count down timer as well ..|
