No Animated GIFs In case you hadn't noticed...

For those of you who dislike your threads being hijacked by animated gifs, you can now add a 'No Animate Gifs' prefix when you create your thread.

Any animated gifs posted in these prefixed threads will be deleted without discussion.

Hopefully, this will be a compromise that keeps all parties happy...

I don't understand though why Post Your Own Pictures is tagged under No Animated GIFs

^ I assume because the pictures themselves can cause a resource burden for some who have slower speeds, and the animated .gif's will make the pages load even slower.

This is actually a great compromise. Thank you for thinking of it! (Animated .gif's don't really bother me, but I find that they get very boring, fast.)
