In how many states is gay adoption currently legal in?

I'm writing a speech about it for college, and I've been trying to get a clear count of how many states currently allow GLBT adoption, but most of the information that I'm getting seems to be outdated. Can anybody help me out here?

Full joint adoption by same-sex couples is currently legal in the following jurisdictions:

Gay individuals can adopt in Ohio. However, unmarried couples gay or straight, cannot adopt there. It doesn't seem that being part of a gay couple prevents a person form adopting or fostering Ohio.

I thought that Florida was the only state that same-gender-couple adoption was entirely illegal, and wasn't there something about it being struck down by a state court? I'm losing track in such a bewildering swirl of political tug-of-war going on everywhere...
