Targetting chance is typical blood sport there... difference this time was the mod leading the hunt. Was a friend on here and Facebook, but no more...deleted him because he was instrumental in pushing chance's buttons, and actually raised the personal stakes by bashing him every time he got, demeaning him, dismissing his contributions as a poster. I will miss chance here, as his defensiveness to wards others basically was a reaction to their unremitting hostility towards him. They never listened or gave ground on anything, he was always wrong and they were always right! He should have handled it better, but he has NOTHING to apologize for in terms of speaking his mind and having a perspective other than the rainbow conformity so practiced by progressives who act as if liberal/left perspectives are the only ones that have any validity or sense. For the most part(95%) their idea of fairness is supporting/enabling/dismissing holding their party to account because the other party hasn't been which in my mind totally undermines their credibility in attacking the GOP and demanding they be held to account. If you are intellectually dishonest about your side, and can't and won't apply the same standards of farness, justice and accountability you self righteously implore towards those you oppose tha you are part of the problem, not the solution. and fucking living in your own delusional "reality".

That's all I'm going to say on the matter, period.

As for "pushing chance's buttons"..... if he can't control himself then he needs to find some other activity to indulge in.

This is nothing more than another one of your love sonnets to the guy.

He is pompous, arrogant and beyond obnoxious not to mention pretentious with his posting style.

I think he may just be cooling off. This is an entirely different place than what it was when he started. Regardless of reason, when you are both a frequent contributor and a mod then some users cannot bother to allow you the ability to post as yourself and then trust you will be fair in the event of a altercation between members. I have had multiple infractions and warnings over some of my behavior. MOST of them came from Centex. I did one thing in those instances. I listened and tried to alter my posts to reflect knowing more clearly the rules.

That was Chances problem, he felt others got special favors or something else because his shit-o-meter was pegged with many folks yet he still believed he was exactly the same as all others. I will say that chance typically had a specific and GOOD point in about a sentence of the 29 line haiku's but the rest of it was attacking others. Who could possibly think that would last....?

Centex I will continue to cherish as a friend on here if he returns and in real life should he not return. He is exactly who he represents himself as on here, whereas some others may not be.

Quoted for truth. How many more of these mash notes is Sausy going to post? He's dragged this around the boards ad nauseum. As I noted in another thread, Chance has spent years hectoring and belittling every person he disagrees with on CE&P; often using infantile epithets to do it. I can only think that Sausy wasn't paying attention to all of that over these last 5 or so years when anyone who defended Obama on any issue at all was referred to as an Obama Ball Licker or something equally demeaning. The simple fact is that outside of Jayqueer, Sausy and the other three or so resident members of the Obamahate bloc, Chance has alienated almost every other person in the forum and has been responsible for a number of other posters leaving JUB.

I enjoy a good sentimental hagiography as much as the next person, but let's be clear here...Chance is merely away on yet another short holiday and will undoubtedly return in about a week to continue his relentless campaign to convince everyone that Obama, Hilary and the Dems are destroying America and that Benghazi is somehow the moral equivalent of a disastrous war in Iraq that left thousands and thousands of US military and tens of thousands of Iraqis dead.

To mourn his departure is premature.

Having to be a moderator in the CE&P forum must be a pretty thankless and unrewarding job for anyone - instead of JUB being their 'leisure time', they instead have to cope with the equivalent of an out-of-control unruly schoolclass whose pupils are constantly name-calling and arguing with each other - and they have to face it each day, every day.

With jackoroe on extended leave and centexfarmer taking time out it looks like the entire burden will now fall on the hapless opinterph who in my opinion doesn't get enough credit around here for having to put up with all of it. It's an unenviable task.

Actually all Mods came with a posting history... but all people now understand whether it is HT or CEP a mod isnt allowed humanity. They must judge and shut the fuck up or someone wets their diaper.
