I'm going to have to look, but I can already guarantee I'm not going to like what I find.;

Times like this make one wish that there was a way to send condolences to those who were close but, unfortunately, there are those who would abuse it by including snide comments, or "going political," etc.

EDIT: There was some news about him being sick in the Leftovers thread, but I wasn't reading that thread, so I didn't know. I had never interacted with Lefty (or PERHAPS a very little, such as a Forum comment or two - can't remember if any PM ever), but I have always had a lot of respect for him.

It's also true that there are plenty of people I respect here greatly. I just don't interact with all, otherwise I'd never get anything else done...

Rest in peace, Lefty.
 
Hard to believe. Bit shell shocked to hear Lefty is gone.
He was one of the friendliest people on here, always willing to include people and a fixture in fun and games. Very sad day.
Hope his family are okay.

It seems to me that 'Suicide by [STRIKE]Cop[/STRIKE] Mod' used to happen more often. Or, maybe the JUB staff is so used to it, and so much quicker, these days, that I just don't get the chance to see it.

I agree, he was one of the good guys and I liked reading his posts. I guess when he changed his custom title to Guest it wasn't so much a joke as it was foreshadowing.

I, too, have been away and am saddened to hear of Lefty's passing. He was one of my favourite guys here and he kept me entertained for a very long time with his witty take on activities here on JUB. Don Quixote did a beautiful job of honouring his memory in the "garden" in the now closed thread.
 
Has Justapixie been mentioned yet? Haven't seen him in a long time.
