funny enough: the button shirts that i own aren't mean to be buttoned at all... or even tucked in.

they're designed with thier bottom is flat so that they'll look good as an overshirt.

It depends....if it is for work or a formal occasion, then I wear it tucked in. However, if I am going out to the bars or meeting with friends then I leave it untucked.

Of course at work or job interview it's tucked, but since we're talking casually, I wear mine buttons opened where you can see the shirt underneath and untucked.
One of the guys I work with wears his dress shirts untucked over a sweater and a dress jacket with a tie.

I think he looks slovenly.

Tucked in, always. Got to show off that bulge and ass, ya know?:rb:

well if the shirt is buttoned then it is usually tucked in, unbuttoned left out.. now if we get into the whole long sleeve short sleeve thing then thats a whole nother post

It depends. When I'm casual and wearing blue jeans, I leave the shirt hanging out. For a more formal look, I tuck the shirt in.

It depends on where I am and the outfit... most often it's untucked under a sweater.

Do you wear your button-down dress shirts with the shirt tail tucked in, or hanging out?

Tucked in or hanging out ... of WHAT? Your ass?

Oh, pardon me. You meant 'pants', didn't you?

Unless it's an old one put on for painting, dress shirts are ALWAYS 'tails in'.
