Dear Zack .
Well it is sad that your mum and you did not have a good time in India.
India is not a small country. and Mumbai Delhi or wherever you went to see the monuments, is not enough to give your opinion about the country.
The Indian doesn't have a particular look. If you go South you will see very dark people but if you go to the eastern part, you will see people with lighter skin with mongolite features, or in plain looks like more Chinese. The Pakistani handsome boy you are talking about look like any other Indian that come from the northern Belt.
And regarding who cilvilised whom, Well Eurimouse answered it pretty well.
Its easy to throw dirt on each other and it can go forever so better we ignore you.
And please enjoy the posts.

LOLLL, I’m glad somebody agrees with me.
I had the exact same experience when I went to India, my mum was hell bent on going to India one summer after seeing the over glamorised pictures of pretty monuments (that weren’t built by Indians at all but rather those who invaded and civilised them such as the Brits, Turks, Persians, Afghans, Arabians etc.) in holiday brochures and the hunky men on Bollywood posters.
She’d just broke up with dad so maybe she was hoping for an exotic holiday romance, boy was she in for an unpleasant shock, the entire time we were there we didn’t see any Bollywood looking hunks instead everywhere we went we got unwashed, greasy looking men with blood stained teeth (my eyes started hurting), and unlike the brochures there wasn’t a pretty domed building with curved archways in sight, all we got to see was filth, stench, smelly cows shitting everywhere, poverty, unbearable heat, people urinating/defecating on the streets, walls covered in red spit which Indians spit everywhere after chewing some red leaf, fumes, dust, humidity and more filth.
Mum decided to cut the vacation short and we came back home and promised ourselves we wont be as gullible or adventurous ever again and stick to Spain and Turkey like most normal Brits.
Well my mum was the gullible one, I knew from school that India is the wrong place for Bollywood looking men, the hunky Bollywood looking classmates I had were all Pakis not Indian, all the Indians wore glasses and had side parted hair, I like thugs not geeks.
