Good day, Gentlemen!

I am new to the site, so I figured I'd share a bit about myself. So, here goes.

I am a mixed race (Cuban/White), bear, in my thirties, and happily partnered. I am a sci-fi geek, a bookworm, a fledgling gamer, a sports fan (Basketball and Soccer), and an LaVeyan Satanist. I wanted to throw that last part in there to get it out of the way as many people have some pretty serious misconceptions about it, and it has led to people being uncomfortable due to their ignorance. That said I am who I am, and I won't apologize for it. If you are ignorant of the basic concepts of Satanism I would be very happy to answer any questions, so ask away. Don't worry, I don't bite, unless you ask nicely, haha. :-<

Now, about me sexually, I am a vers. bottom, though I haven't topped in probably a decade, who is mostly into ethnic men, though there are men of all races I find incredibly hot. I am into muscle bears, otters, leather, oral sex, hairy guys in general (Especially hairy pits, legs, and ass, but nothing is hotter than that little trail of hair leading from a guys navel down to his pubes, just saying...), and I tend to be mostly attracted to Black and Latino men. Some of my favorite porn stars are Phoenix Fellington, Austin Wilde, Mr. Marky, Tiger Tyson (I know, I know I'm showing my age.), Vadim Black, and Nick West, though this list could go on for quite a bit longer, if I'm honest.

Anyway, I am very glad to be here, and I look forward to getting to know you guys, and participating right along with y'all.

Hi -- and welcome to JUB!

I've met a couple of people over the years who claimed to be satanists -- I always suspected that they just thought it was a "cool" thing to associate with rather than really hold a "belief".

My question to you is:

Do you believe in magic?

No, sir, as a Satanist I don't hold beliefs, as such. I'd much rather know for certain that something is true, than simply believe it is true based on faith. I view ritual, the only "magic" that exists in Satanism, as an intellectual decompression that allows one to work through excess emotions via a ritualized format. Along those lines I also see Tarot as a psychological tool that can allow one to examine ones unconscious feelings on a topic via interpretive reading.

With that said, I also do not do high ritual, I usually just do mental exercises that follow the idea of the rituals, without having to actually act them out. It works a lot better for me in the long run as I have a very limited area in my home, and cannot actually create a ritual chamber. When I was much younger I flirted with the right hand path religions of Wicca and general paganism, but in the end the supernatural aspects were just too much for me. When I read LaVey's Satanic Bible I felt that I had found something that truly fit me, and was far more realistic in regards to my personal world view. That was nearly fifteen years ago now, and I have not regretted it a day since.

As to those who are using it for shock value, or just to seem edgy, or cool, that is quite common, as much as I wish it wasn't. It gives the rest of us a rather hard time. Our religious affiliation is already difficult enough to explain to people without that sort of jackassery, but it is what it is. That is the exact reason LaVey put the membership application, and membership fee process in place. While anyone can be a Satanist, none can officially speak for the Church without being a member.

Welcome to the site.

I was sorry to read you didn't participate in satanic rituals like slaughtering animals and virgins.

I look forward to reading more of your stuff.

I'm not entirely sure I'd ever call myself a renegade, haha, but I'll accept your welcome anyway.

Also, on the whole sacrificing a virgin thing, if taking their virginity can be counted then I am so in!
