Inner Beauty

Maybe I have not yet fully understand what is "inner beauty" is, to me it is just I dont get it.

People keep saying look will go away, but not your inner beauty. I think it is just something that not good looking people made up.

Are you any happier if you just have inner beauty?

Inner beuaty is kindness, caring, love, compassion, concern, patients, generosity, selflessness, empathy. etc....etc.

Inner beauty is all those qualities that make you really want to be with someone and not just want someone.

That's part of what inner beauty is to me at least.

You can be the most outwardly 'beautiful' person on earth, but if you're also a pain in the arse, no one will like you.

Inner beauty is all those qualities the last three Jubbers mentioned and more. It is the backbone of one's character and the root of one's personality. It is the essence of one's being and the prime determinant of a person's fate in life. In short, it is the very soul of the human being.

I'm not going to get into the specifics of what I feel the "Inner Me" is like, as I don't want to send a mass of JUBers running screaming from their screens and seeking psychatric help.

But, I'm not sure about this idea of inner beauty.

We live, and for sometime will continue to live, in a very viseral world. We are drawn to things that catch our eye, not to things that we don't want to give a second look.

I suppose there are times, say online, where a connection can be made strong enough to overpower the lure of looks, if the person doesn't match your usual standards...

But, these occassions are few and far between in my experience.

Reaper, your comment doesn't surprise me at all, coming from someone your age. Wait till you're a bit older, mate, with a bit more life experience under your belt, then I think you'll discover what inner beauty is all about.
