Sorry to keep you all waiting ... 
The date went really well! We had originally planned to only do a movie because we've both got finals all of next week, but we ended up hanging out all day and studying together... and then he spent the night and we did some heavy petting. It was really awesome, and really freaked out my roommate, which is always a plus.
He said he wasn't sure I was interested (which doesn't make sense to me... but whatever) so he was too nervous to respond to my advances, and it took him a while to build up the courage to call me. I'm not sure I believe him 100%, but I saw no reason to push the issue further 'cause he was there anyways
. I get the distinct impression he hates talking on the phone with anyone, so that might be why. He lives across the country (Colorado) , so we're planning to meet up once more before he leaves for winter break. We already set the date and time (he insisted) and I can't wait.
That's a sorta mandatory 2-week hiatus, so we'll see if the theory regarding isolating ourselves to prevent any perception of interest pans out.
If our next date is a success, hopefully we'll continue seeing eachother after we get back to school from the break. I'm gonna try to stop being so controlling and go with the flow from now on.
And I'm getting a lot more sleep lately... stress levels have decreased enormously since my 1st post
