Pushover
Made of Win and Awesome
My first blog entry, how exciting. I feel an urge to write something memorable and pleasing, all the while spouting out an endless stream of obscenities, with a plethora of immoral observations on what I find to be mankind's most irritating and offensive habits. Some of you may take offense. Some of you may agree with me. Most of you can go fuck yourselves, you'll probably enjoy it, anyways.
So, without further adieu, and with much sarcasm and excessive negativity towards my fellow members of the human race, I give you Insistent Ranting & Observation.
What is it about the 'dare' that gets people's motivational skills working? Is it enough that we get the feeling of superiority in making others do things because they're obliged to? Is it enough that we don't get enough satisfaction in our own miserable lives that we have to make other people do things just to make them do it? Do we really have to dare people to do something to get the truth out of them? Not really....we like to...but not really.
Do you like daring people to do things? I do. It's fun. It's informative. It's making other people do things because you said so. Nothing makes me feel better than telling a friend 'Johnny, I dare you to go shoot that annoying mother fucker in the face.' If he's a good friend, he will, because that's what friends are for. Oh, he goes to jail, but I got my satisfaction for the day, so let's not worry about him. He's in jail, he's got enough fucking problems as it is without people worrying about him.
But, what if they don't do it? What if your dare doesn't work? Oh no, they're depriving you of your fun. They're getting in the way of your happiness. They're obstructing you from getting your daily satisfaction. If they don't want to do as you ask, they're obviously not a very good friend, are they? Fuck 'em. You can find plenty of people that will be your friend and do as you say. There's always more where that came from.
So, are we really getting the most out of our lives? Do you say to yourself "Gee, I'm not getting the fullest satisfaction out of my life, right now."? Let's rectify that. Go out today and do something that you want to do and tell somebody to do something just because you fucking can. Go ahead. Do it. I dare ya.
