Intentionally Being Caught

When I was 20 and in the US backpacking I had caught a greyhound bus which had stopped at a truck stop. I got up to use to toilet on the bus and initially didn't notice that the hatch they feed the tube through to empty the toilet was open. Not at all and it was killing me not knowing. They were speaking a foreign language that I couldn't for the life of me figure out.

BTW anyone have any tips on intentionally being caught? Anything you recommend. Especially if you're from cleveland and know any great spots.
