The same thing happens to me. People on the dating sites are just very fake. I get responses from guys that are 35 and 40, but I am just not attracted to them. I would like to have a meaningful relationship with a guy my age. But I either get a liar who tells me they like me and then they block me, or a guy who says he likes me but wants to fuck bareback and blocks me when I say I only have safe sex. I am a decent guy but it's like I'm getting all this bullshit from people. Then I get some white asshole who's all like, look at me and my boyfriend, I look like hell but he picked me because I',m white!! That happened to me alot in college, I just get so angry and depressed. I don't like being alone but where the hell am I going to find a date. I will date any race, I am no longer one race oriented. But i still have to be attracted to the person.

( And I do like older guys, I am not a shallow twat. I just need to feel a connection with the person ya know)

Keep trying is all I can say. Not all guys are like this. Eventually someone who is interested in you as much as you are interested in him will come along.

Your guess is wrong. A list of celebrities doesn't reflect my taste in men in everyday life. It just says I think they are attractive.

Does a list a celebrities you find attractive reflect your taste in men in real life?

I haven't tried internet dating, but my friends have tried dating in games. And they are just as bad and maybe even worse. Personally I also think that meeting a person in real life is a lot better than meeting a person online. But u never know when the right person will come along. So just keep on trying. I often tend to fall for the guys in my school. Since the only place I go to is school/ college. But I never get further as to become boyfriends with any of them. Even though most of them are older than me. I guess some guys want to keep their ego & reputation in school?

I know what you mean. Internet dating is very interesting. I live in an area that is not very big on gay scene, so its hard for me to meet guys here. I have met a few interesting people online, but it is very hard to meet quality guys. I 've also experienced the ignoring from guys and also have older men trying to get at me. Im 20 and most men that message me are 55 or so, while thats flattering I at least have the balls to kindly tell them I am not interested. I am not sure what guys are looking for, but I would just like to meet a nice guy! Lol. Is that hard?? Yahoo, Match, etc are all great it gets tiresome after a while and you start seeing the same people over and over again! Sometimes internet dating can be a confidence booster, but it can also sting a few times! Lol. I dont get it either, but dating is just as complicated either way! O well.
