I am afraid we here in Germany will see this censoship bullshit soon too. They are already working on it. And they are always pretending it is for the safety of youngsters which of course is total nonsense.
When I was twelve I found a big bag full of Hardcore Porn in the forest that somebody has thrown away. I cannot say it caused me any harm.

There were too many sites and videos on the net I liked that simply disappeared from one day to the next because they could not be accessed or the user account was deleted. I always download everything I like to my harddrive to prevent it from disappearing. My archive is big enough now that it will keep me entertained for a while even if the sites will be gone.

I better start collecting porn images and videos on a hard drive just in case I won't be able to access those sites anymore (only JUB and pornhub, actually).

I'm finding that if I've already signed up to a site, whether it's pay-per-view video-on-demand, where you buy a bunch of minutes to watch the vids, or a free site like BoyfriendTV where I've uploaded a few vids myself, you don't have to go through the age verification process. I've also tried a few other free sites and they don't even have the "over 18" panel. The VPN link above takes you to a page which says porn sites are "required" to check whether someone is over 18 or not. I find the word "required" odd because it doesn't sound compulsory, let alone a legal requirement which is punishable if not carried out. Does anyone know if a porn site will be taken to court if they don't bother with this age verification process? ... I guess it's still early days with people finding out what's what, as indeed are we! ... This pay-per-view site evidently recognises my email address, so I only need to sign in ...

^^Yes, even if one has been a member of CockyBoys for years, one still has to go through the verification process. Fortunately, once done, one never has to deal with the issue again (so far ).

Several other sites utilize the YOTI verification process. And, so far, once you've gone through the verification, you don't have to re-verify. Although, on one site, I have had to, upon occasion, re-enter the YOTI app on my phone which automatically unlocks access.

Oh holy fuck, I've gotten a block too from Guys In Sweatpants! They are taking the stance of simply blocking the site entirely from Arizona, my state, without any age-verify system because they say, as I agree, that they're not safe in this day and age of identity theft. The thing is, NO such law has been passed in Arizona!!! But apparently there is one PENDING. It had a "Contact your Legislators" button which took you to a form with a pre-written electronic letter to send to the Governor and your local reps. in the state House & Senate done with "Defend Online Privacy" I can't believe this is happening. All thanks to our fucking Supreme Court with its ultra-conservative majority. I can only assume this will spread to all sites; Seems from above that CockyBoys has already but I didn't try that one.

Just like here in the U.S. what this is about is craven conservative politicians pandering to their right-wing Christian Nationalist puritanical prude base, and another example of the 1% controlling the rest. And they ALL always cloak it in "protecting the children" in order to rile more people up so that the stupid masses who only read headlines get behind it. Perhaps if parents actually GAVE A FUCK about their kids and didn't let them even HAVE device access where they could get to porn site, or otherwise exercise parental control this wouldn't be an issue. When it comes to LGBTQ-themed books in school libraries oh they all scream about "parental rights" in being able to ban them...well where's your parental rights here, taking charge of what your fucking kids do online?
