Contrary to what I said upthread in my rant, I just learned thanks to that website I mentioned that there WAS a bill passed AND signed by our Dem. Governor sadly back in May so this fucking thing is likely to start in Sept., which will mean EVERY site now, not just the ones described so far (in the U.S.)

The only hope is that usage of credit card alone to purchase a membership may be sufficient given the language apparently in the bill, detailed in the above link, about "commercially reasonable" mean.

Just curious, anyone here live in Ohio? There new state law went into effect today (Sept. 30) requiring porn sites to use an age verification service for Ohio residents. Although with all the sites I tried today without using my VPN, none are doing it yet. Oh, and Governor Dewine is a dick.

Same thing happened here in Arizona on 15SEP I think it was, and so I had to start using a VPN to get around it. Oddly, JUB was not blocked (as well as Carnal's site), but The Sword and Mansurfer were. So it seems to be spotty, at least so far, but we clearly just need to use a VPN so there's no worries.

We have a Dem. gov., but she caved to the MAGA legislature we have who of course were pandering to the conservative masses in our state who pushed this using the usual "protect the children" BS.

There's no consistency in any of this Age Veri nonsense. I came across a site called YesWeGays and in order to see a certain duo, I was asked to send my email address. No mention of a credit card or face pics. They then emailed a 6-digit code, so I tapped that into the field supplied and was immediately let into the site. I have a feeling you that you might have to do that each time but it's less of a nuisance than taking selfie face pics ... ...

That's nuts! Like getting and typing in a code like that verifies anyone's age!??? But yeah, better than giving your credit card and WAY better than giving a scan of your ID or otherwise a face pic...no WAY I would ever do that in this age of hacking & scams!

By the way...that is one HOT scene of Bentley & Solomon which I thankfully have on my hard drive! Back in Chaos Men's good days with hot guys. Bentley was a total stud and so was Solomon/Aspen back then, super sexy with all his awesome fur and PIT HAIR!
