iOS 4.3 update

I know "Oh my god you have an iPhone you're such a fucking LOSER!"

But I just heard that they released iOS 4.3 update for iPhone, iTouch, and iPad. Who has it and is liking it? I'm just barely downloading it. Freaking 669MB download. Sucks having DSL.

So I guess I figured I would remind people to update it cause I hear they fixed a lot of bugs for it. Including adding a shit load of new features to it.

Also hopefully you have all your apps on your iTunes because it kept telling me that I needed to transfer my purchases before upgrading. Ugh!

Well it installed smoothly. I am really enjoying iTunes Home Sharing, Safari is a bit faster when loading up JUB which is nice cause I really hated the long loading times on the phone.

Also if people are having issues trying to make iTunes Home Sharing work on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch then here is a helpful blog entry from someone who shows step by step on how to set it up.

Installation aso went perfectly smoothly for my iPhone 4. The wifi hotspot feature (although long overdue) works great!

I have an iTouch that runs v 3.1.3 and can not be upgraded beyond that because it's a first generation iTouch.

However, even though it's obsolete, it still performs the function for which I primarily bought it... mp3s.

Sorry Gery, I think Apple's website says its only for 3rd generation and 4th generation iTouch I think my friend might have 2nd generation. I think its stupid that they cut off people, reminds me of when they said "FUCK YOU" to all their Mac users who were still using PowerPC. Oh wait that's me....

Same with me nothing on the 360 interested me that was already on the PS3, plus the advantage was having a Blu-Ray player and Netflix.

But Apple COMPLETELY abandon their users no matter what, its like someone who is still using XP there is still software made for XP computers. Its ok though I use my PC more than I do my Mac.

Yeah I think its really stupid they do that, but I haven't purchased anything over Apple's store though we did have to put in a credit card in order to use the iPhone and have an Apple ID and to find my iPhone using their "Find my iPhone" app.

Also the reason why I like the PS3's Blu-Ray is that there's not an update for the Blu-Ray every week like other Blu-Ray players seem to put out every week or month.

^ This must be unique to the Canadian iTunes store...? No such restrictions in Australia - you don't have to use a credit card at all, if you prefer to use gift cards etc.

Honestly I don't find much about it over iOS 4.0.0; although I will say that it has consumed a lot more space. My iPod used to have 7.9GB max storage, but that has now gone down to 6.8

It didn't take much room on mine, probably like 200MB. I'm still at 12GB on there. Looks like they added new ring tones as well and some are complaining that the made the older ring tones shorter in length.
