iPad sucks

I don't know, it seems like it could catch on like wildfire. It's basically just a big iPhone. It looks like it will easily fill the niche where people do not want a bulky desktop pc or want an alternative to a laptop pc. And with the extra features that the iPad has over a laptop, I think it very may well be another huge hit for Apple. Although I've personally never owned an Apple product, I can see why this will appeal to many people.
 
It's a iBook connected to the new apple online bookstore,

It's a big iPod Touch.

It doesn't run more than 1 App at a time.

It's a cute toy.

Doesn't have Flash, so you can't browse all websites.

Starting at 16GB memory it is ridiculously small amount of memory.

Still staying with AT&T which most people hate. They want $15 for 250 MB (very small amount) or $30 unlimited a month.

It's big and clumsy to carry around.

I predict it will be a failure.

The iPad Is A Bit of A Disappointment.....

So Apple just unveiled the new iPad:

It looks like a giant mutated Iphone.....

Actually it IS a giant mutated Iphone. It's basically a bigger Iphone. The specs and design is practically the same. The iPad is obviously more powerful but it doesn't seem to do anything different.

What I DO like about it is that you can read books and newspapers much like the Kindle.



Oh well...

Ditto. The READING part is a big plus for me. I currently have a sony reader and love it, but it could be bigger.

AND I can browse the net on the iPad without squinting.

It IS what it is, but I think it hits a market for people that want an appliance and not a full blown computer for ordinary tasks.

I'm getting one, for sure. Tired of dragging a laptop around.

I like it. I saw that there is an iwork app. but didn't see any usb. Any idea/guess how to print a document?
 
Shoulda called it iFail.

No java, no flash, no webcam, very tiny memory....yikes. I think this is gonna be a very niche item here....where is it's market place? E-reader folks? At this price? Jeeze, dunno bout this thing....

Apple should design a life-sized, touch-sensitive computer that a person can make love to... That'd really be revolutionary. Call it iPhuck?

As of now, you can't print with it.

It doesn't have USB connections.

It's the same as the Iphone. Except bigger.

What an unfortunate name. Can we menstruate on the iPad, or would I have to download and App for that?
 
It's not even a giant iPhone, it's more of a giant iPod touch. There is no phone, there is no camera.

It's more of an iBook. Apple created an iTunes type store to sell books online.
 
It's really too big an inflexible to carry around. It's also hotspot dependent for web surfing and YouTube watching. I could see myself using it a tool around the house to quickly check e-mail, or perhaps to web surf and YouTube in bed.
