iphone MMS Question

Hello everyone,

I'm from the UK and am weighing up options as to whether or not I should purchase the iphone. Being a sucker for gadgets, especially ones that look nice, this has caught my eye.

I do have a question that hopefully those folks who have already got an iphone can help me with.

I know the iphone does not have MMS send functionality, but my question is can you still receive MMS messages?

Has anyone received an MMS on an iphone? What happened?

Over here in the UK, if a phone cannot receive an MMS it gives a link to view the message online. I wonder if it's the same sort of thing.

Any helps you can give would be great.

My friends who don't have the iPhone send me MMS messages but to my email address and not to the phone number itself. Hope that helps.
 
the iPhone can NOT send or receive MMS? what kind of multimedia phone is that oO?
 
I was actually looking at the iphone myself, if it doesn't do MMS fuck that shit!!

It looks like a hot phone, but if it doesn't have that then its for me not worth buying..

I also wanna get the itouch! Now that looks exciting!!!
 
I find it odd that it can't record video, Doesn't have a radio and doesn't have a user replaceable battery. In fact the latest release of hype seems to be that you can now spend money with apple using it at the itunes store. They are not stupid those marketing guys. I'd wait until the 3G hypeware comes out.
 
I just found out it has no refrigerator or microwave built in. Fuck that shit.:D

Oh come now it has got a microwave that is what heats up your brain and lets you make phone calls. The lack of a refrigerator is disturbing news though.
