Consider the DROID or wait till the Nexus is on Verizon as tmobile is not that great. If you like the option of a physical keyboard then DROID is the only choice. As far as features I cannot tell you as I never had an iphone as I won't ever go with ATT for cell service.

The Woz says his favorite gadget is the Nexus One.

He also carries a Motorola Droid, however.

He later clarified saying the iPhone is still his favorite, but he likes the Nexus One for what it is.

I agree with the others; wait until the Nexus comes to Verizon. T-mobile's 3G footprint is still WAY small compared to the others, unless you live in a big city. There have also been reports of network issues that keep users on Edge for most of the time.

Two friends of mine just got he Droid. they love it. i've not seen a nexus yet so i can't compare. I agree with the others wait and see if/when Nexus goes to verizon.

I feel as though I should respond to this. I, just like you, had been using the iPhone since the day they released it. I had the original one, the 3G, and the 3GS. I loved them.

One day I accidentally dropped my iPhone 3GS on the tile floor of my kitchen, and the screen shattered. Apple gave me two options: Pay $299 to have the screen replaced, or buy a new phone. This happened at the same time that the new Moto Droid came out on Verizon's network. So since I was really liking the droid, hating AT&T, and wanted a change, I went with the Droid.
The Droid is a very nice phone, and I love the full QWERTY keyboard, but the system itself lags, A LOT. You can do basic functions and it only REALLY messes up about once every two days. Like, by calling random people when the screen is locked, sending random texts to people, randomly shutting down, and getting really, really warm. But I had a few of those same issues with all of my iPhones, excluding the 3GS. Overall. as much as I hated AT&T and love Verizon's service, I wish I would have never switched. I miss my iPhone so much.
I hope my comment helped.

**I heard that the new iPhone that comes out in June MAY be carried by Verizon. Just as a side note**

Oh, and I don't know much about the Nexus, but I can't see it being that different.

It's a trip to me that while the iPhone is no longer technologically unique, it really is--to my satisfaction, at least--in an aesthetic class all its own. And it fits just right in my hand. Itty bitty phones make my knuckles cramp.

Apple gave me two options: Pay $299 to have the screen replaced...

You could've gotten a perfectly functional replacement screen from a third-party supplier for about $40. When I shattered the screen on my iPhone, even the folks at the Genius Bar couldn't deny this as a viable option. After several seconds of silence (and reluctant nodding) at this suggestion, the best they could manage was a tepid caution that such a solution might void my warranty if the innards of my phone ever malfunctioned.

I have both and the Nexus One is going back. I'd much rather have my iPhone anyday. Everything the Nexus One can do comes with some downside and T-Mobile's service is worse than AT&T for me.
