I am a heavy user of my iphone, i charge it every night, if i'm working i'll be playing with it while i work and i might completly drain it dry, which is why i have a usb charger in my work desk, generally though i use 80% of the battery on a good day. You have to keep in mind though i use it all day, i'm not some one who only uses there phone for phone calls and the odd google search from time to time.

I have the 3Gs 32gb, i don't turn of my 3g either which drains a fair bit of power

the charge doesn't even last a day... hate it!!!

btw, i paid about $65 (needs to be paid only once) for my iphone 3gs (16 gb) and i have to pay $40 a month now and for that i have a 2 year contract that allows me to free call to any destination in germany i wanna call, gives me 3000 free text messages a month, internet flatrate and a nice customer service

I look at the Usage settings before I charge. Usually I'm around 3 days since last charge, and 6-7 hours of actual usage time (not in sleep). I leave it on all night.
