Downey is perfect for the part. He is playing Tony Stark, who in the comics is a big alcoholic. The only person better for the part would have been Nick Nolte.

you have to remember that all though the character is "iron man" it's really about the guy in the armor.

Robert Downey Jr. is a perfect casting choice. Finally he will get his deserved shot at Holywood's A-list.

Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges also star in the film.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with the visuals...it looks like realistic animation mixed with regular filming..?

When I heard they were doing this movie I wasn't quite sure if they could pull it off, I couldn't quite place anyone in the role of Tony Stark. Robert Downey was chosen and like most, it never occurred to cast him, but I think it is brilliant! I am sooo excited for this.

I agree with those that say it's gonna be huge! Just the CGI we've seen in the two trailers is amazing, imagine what we haven't seen!

A bomb...I think not!
