But when you continue to support and promote the political causes and people who not only oppose but wish to strip homos of our rights, that shower you feel is just about everyone pissing on your parade.

And if every thread that you make is only about Republicans and why liberal homos are to balme for your and society's ills, expect there to be thunder as well.

I don't mind if you guys disagree with my opinion, or point-of-view. What irritates me is when you guys attack my parents, family, call me a "pet" or make other kinds of derogatory comments to degrade me as a person.

I know I'm not the only gay person who holds my kind of political views, as there are gay people involved in organizations like the Log Cabin Republicans & GOProud.


Lastly, I should remind you that my living situation with my parents was brought up in the "Coming Out" forum, and that information from that forum is not supposed to be used against someone in other forums of JUB. You (and other JUB members) have violated that rule against me repeatedly.

Tim Allen is playing a role, so his personal politics do not matter. Just because someone is acting in a conservative role doesn't mean they're republican. He also played Santa Claus; doesn't mean he's a socialist.

JayQueer, the majority of your postings have political commentary. You also tend to make political connections on topics where there is no politics at play, such as this topic. It's a sitcom, either watch it and enjoy or change the channel and move on.

While JUB was helpful for me in the last few months when I was struggling with coming out to my family, I have come to realize that when it comes to politics, almost everyone here is far left-wing, with some members even openly socialist.

I think it's important for me to find a group of people with whom I can truly feel comfortable with. I have seen the amount of hate towards me from certain regular posters here, and it's frightening.

I've joined the Log Cabin Republicans and I hope to make some new friends with people who are gay, and share my political views. Hopefully I will be accepted and loved for who I am.

As I posted in another thread earlier (and linked to you multiple times since you ignored it again) you have the habit to bring all that info into many other threads on your own. Just look at the last paragraph of your last post .. that last paragraph was totally irrelevant. YET you had to place that in this thread. Again.

I have made no secret of my political affiliation, and yes, perhaps I did "over-state" my political affiliation in threads where it was not needed.

However, I only disclosed information about my living situation in the "coming forum". Yet, it has been used against me by other users numerous times in the "politics" and "hot topics" threads -- a clear violation of JUB code of conduct.

In fact the latest JUB code of conduct violation occurred by a JUB user starting with "R" in reply #20.

JUB CoC clearly states that if you believe a post is in violation, the correct thing to do is report it.

Nothing to be nice about... If you felt they were in violation then, as you say you do now. The negligence is on your part for not reporting.

Instead you choose to threaten Corny by claiming he has been acting on a bias against you? When it was you, yourself, who failed to follow the CoC?

Sorry sunshine, that dog don't hunt any more. You've regaled all of us in so many places, so many times with stories of your life in a gilded cage, including the blow-jobs you've given your Republican closeted neighbours that no one even needs to look at your backstory in any one area any more.

I actually didn't refer to you specifically in the example of things I don't like.

We know from various posts in HT and CE&P that you live in a gated community in a faux colonial house. And that your father gave you his old Mercedes.

Give me a twenty something adult male who likely hasn't had to work a day in his life and is living off his parents.....and I'm likely to include them in the pampered pets category of children. And no, as I said, I don't particularly like the attitude of all those perpetual kittens and puppies that I've had to deal with over the years. Maybe it is their sense of entitlement. Maybe it is just because they actually have no concept of work. Or of giving. Shallow, narcissistic and usually, intellectually as well as spiritually lazy.

I'm thinking though that you trying to turn yourself into the victim once again isn't catching much wind this time around.

I am hoping though, that you find the kind of self-fulfilment and validation that you are desperately seeking in the LCR and GOPROUD organizations.

I have to hope that they will keep you focussed and very busy over the next year.

And for what it's worth, JQ only made a single PR before today. Meanwhile the mods still have gone out of their way, trying to enforce the CoC for him. But there is a point when you get tired of extinguishing a fire that the burning man constantly re-ignites on his own.

and addendum re: fetababy, the general advice is to report that stuff. However if you do not report, it doesn't mean that we won't act on it later. BUT if somebody argues with someone and after 5-6 posts back and forth suddenly decides that he needs to report something (maybe even when he was losing the argument), it might be that we will not act on it then.
