I didn't just base my judgement off one music video. I based it on him in general, his interviews, the way he carries himself, etc. The video was just the icing on the cake.okay, i'm only going to say this once then i'm done with this thread because its a serious insult to my intelligence and common sense. i'm only saying this so that one day, when your weak, pathetic system of categorizing sexuality proves a failure, you can't say someone didn't tell you. the world is WAAAAY too complicated for us to look at a fucking music video and guess that someone's gay or see someone walking down the street and assume things about them based on the way they're dressed, or walk, etc...
And hell yeah you can tell someone is gay by the way the walk. If I see a queen walking like a girl, it's easy to assume they're gay. I can also usually tell someone is gay by the way they carry themselves. I know not everyone is easily identifiable but get real.
has noone ever heard that when you assume you make an ass out of you?? if you make decisions about anyone based on appearance, you're may be right or wrong, but regardless its a superficial system. i have friends who dress like thugs so you may assume that they're uneducated criminals, because most guys who dress like thugs are. however these friends are some of the most intelligent people you'll meet, future doctors and scientists, so if you were to make a judgment based on their appearance you'd be wrong and, in essence, make an ass of yourself. there are men who work on wall street, carry briefcases to work, you may look at them and think wow he must be intelligent but the truth is he may have gotten where he is by luck and good forture, mommy and daddy had money, so in spite of the suit and slick hair the guy may be completely stupid. but you'd look at him and say wow, he must be a bright guy. once again, you'd be wrong. once again, i have straight friends who, in alicia's place, you'd assume were gay because they have some "gay" mannerisms. you CANNOT correctly guess someone's sexuality based on a few glimpses of the person because you're bound to be wrong. people do not really fit into categories. i know it sounds hard and complicated to live in a world where you can't put people into boxes based on what you see, but its reality. people are much more complicated than that. don't be afraid to give people a chance to prove you wrong, just because you don't want to excercise your brain. it's sad and pathetic that you form opinions of people you've never met. i'm not homophobic, i have gay friends and lesbian friends. maybe if you guys had more friends you'd realize that the world isn't black and white, its full of in-betweens that dont fit your simple mentalities so all i ask is that you be a bit more open-minded, but that's probably not going to happen because you're intent on your ignorant, narrow-minded ways so i'll let you have your flat judgments, blanket assessments of sexuality. i may even toss a quarter in the room so you can marvel at its shinyness. well i'm going to leave before my IQ drops and lower. adios.
I never said ALL my judgments and opinions of people are based on appearance. My first impression is, as is with most people.
