Telly, the truth is that the fringe militias have always talked smack like separatism, but it's irrelevant what they talk. They are a tiny, tiny fringe, and the vast majority supports the rule of law.

The South certainly has no secessionist mood and guns are not seen as a mode of self-determination, but self-protection, a view that is never correctly interpreted on the left.
