I've never had anal sex. I want to try it out but it doesn't look like it's fun. Is it really that enjoyable?

I had the chance to once, but when it came to it, I just couldn't go through with it. Are you supposed to feel that it is something you want to do? Because at the time, the guy was really hot don't get me wrong but the thought of doing it doggy style with him just didn't do much for me.

When I am drunk I really want to try it, but when I'm sober it doesn't really do much for me. Does this happen to anyone else?
 
You're not supposed to feel anything, being gay doesn't = an obligation to anal sex.

Lots of people prefer drunken anal sex assuming the threshold of pain is higher (which I guess it is).

What you also have to consider is alcohol also loosens inhibitions about wearing condoms so it's not an even trade.

Do it if you want to, don't do it if you don't want to.

It can be awesome, but depends on the guy, practice and experimentation. When I first started out, it didn't feel bad, but it was mostly something I did for the other guy.
