You know, the biggest shopping day of the year thing.

I normally don't go anywhere NEAR the stores the day after Thanksgiving. But I'm off tomorrow and don't have any plans and was thinking of attempting it.

Just wondered if anyone else was a glutton for punishment. I know Wal-Mart's gonna be a freakin mess. And I hate crowds. And people are just downright rude. Nobody ever says "excuse me" anymore when bumping into you or attempting to pass you in an aisle. They look at you like, "You're in my way and wasting my time, so move it."

Soooooo.... are you gonna do it?

Nope, its just a waste to wait in line until the stores open and get stomped by a herd of raging pissed off people wanting to buy the most cheapest thing in the store.

I'll be at Wegmans doing my weekly grocery shopping tomorrow morning. Everyone else will be at the malls, so traffic at Wegmans will be light.....:D

I know it, man, it's awful. I've heard some serious HORROR stories about people literally tromping each other. There's just no freakin sense in that.

I've personally never seen it that bad around here, though.

I'll be working at my supermarket tomorrow, and most people will be at the malls...so the day after Thanksgiving workload should be light and Christmas music should be playing,so it shouldn't be a bad day. I wouldn't go anywhere near the malls and the herds of wild shoppers feasting at the bargains !Always do Christmas shopping the two weeks before.

Shopping online from the comfort of my home. No traffic or pushing.

I'll be sleeping in because I don't have any money with which to go shopping :(

I don't do stores anymore especially on a day like tomorrow after having been in retailing

Tomorrow is just the beginning of what will happen all through the end of November and into the entire month of December.

I've heard recently that the Friday is about the #5 shopping day of the year now. So many people shop on-line and wait for last minute Christmas sales that this day isn't that big of a deal anymore.

Still, I ain't going anywhere near a mall on Friday.

I did all of my Christmas shopping on line and it's done already.

Just for one thing. I have been looking for a new camera since my old one doesn't work anymore. there is a store here that has a 6 hour sale and they have A Samsung 8 megapixel for half price plus I have a 15% off coupon for any digital camera from that store. ..|

Yea a camera for moi. 40% off a 7.2 (i that a big diff from an 8mp?) I was tempted at first to try my hand at clothing but seeing as it's my first time going alone I'll just stick to one item.

Sick as it may sound, I see this as a bit of a mad mad world sport. Childhood memories of going "dawn bargain hunting" with mum and the aunties had rubbed off.

Crazed shoppers excite me

I don't think I would approach a retail store tomorrow for any reason. Not even if I could buy anything for 100% off. Not even if they paid me to take the mdse off their hands. Some of the most unpleasant memories of my life concern shoplping on the day after Thanksgiving. If I give gifts, I will order all that I need online.

:cry:i'm working the closing shift, oh joy

but on a brighter note, if my boyfriend will come help me pick out a computer, i might just finally bite the bullet and actually buy a god-damned good computer from the apple store, which i hear has extremely good deals tomorrow...and is only about 100 ft away from my store

I may go very late in the day tomorrow, after all of the crowds have gone home.

I've done it before and its usually fun to do it that way.

not going anywhere. usually i would, but this year theres nothing worthwhile

I would go if I lived in the US. I wanted to drive to Buffalo tomorrow, but I'm way too busy with school so I won't be going. I guess I'll have to wait a month for Boxing Day.
