In addition to there being a file size and dimension limit to pixel proportions, the site is VERY glitchy about avatar uploading and will give an error message as one tries to complete the upload, acting as if it is failing, giving an error message, only to find out it in fact changed the avatar and is treating the final step as if it is a new request. I always go back to the forum and check after attempting a change to verify if the error is actual or just a latent popup.

The uploading avatar issue could be the verification process of showing if you are human by clicking on the squares that have crosswalks and such. Third party board mods can create issues on other areas of a board. I remember one time my third party forum chatroom was hacked. The only thing I could do was to shut my board down and fix the problem by uninstalling the chatroom mod.

When I ran my IPB boards, I used to make sure I ran board certified IPB mods. I hated going into the forum files and editing (hacking) code. UGH. An unintended break in code was sometime the issue but not always.

But, ya, it took several tries before I could get an avatar to appear. I went to my profile to see if there were any avatars you could choose from that were provided by JUB.

I only had trouble connecting and posting a few hours ago.

I have had way more trouble with all the banning

I found when I checked the box inside the box that popped up the post would be quick and go though but when I pressed continue without checking the box it doubled and tripled my posts.
