I honestly can't fathom a mindset that blithely accepts rich White guy affirmative action even when the White guy in question won't benefit from it, but that same White guy has conniptions if a woman or Brown person earns their success. Racism and misogyny are part of it, but there's something else wrong with that as well. I will never be President, why then must I be wildly offended is a Black woman gets the votes? If I think she is underserving, how offended should I be by Toad, who never worked for anything in his sorry life.

It's the new strategy. Karl Rove used to attack the opposition on their strong suit. The Trumpists take Trump's failings and accuse the other side of the same behavior. I'm just waiting for them to say that Kamala slept with Stormy Daniels.

I just posted excerpts from Trump's latest 55 minute vomit-fest, which had been billed as an "economic campaign event" in Pennsylvania this week. You'll see the same patterns in that speech... if you can stomach it.

Trump counter-programming attempt this week to compete with the DNC convention. He was at Precision Custom Components in York County, PA. He rambled for 55 minutes, during which time the officials standing behind him grew more and more uncomfortable and puzzled.

The speech had the usual lies and misinformation. It had the usual propaganda and demagoguery. It has Trump's usual verbal tics where he makes a statement and then improvises "like nobody has ever seen" or with hyperbolic doomsday speech when talking about Biden/Harris like "terrible", "horrible", "disaster", "destroyed". I...
