is diarrhea acidic or basic ?

My guess is it's acidic since it's basically stomach contents flushed through faster than can be processed and stomach acid is acidic.

I vaguely recall that there's something that neutralizes the acid after it comes out of the stomach.

From the medical point of view it would depend on what you have been eating recently and if you have any underlying medical conditions.

what i meant by normal was that everybody had a diarrhoea at least once in their life time. If they never had a diarrhoea before, that person is not normal. :)

Its like that person never had a stomach complain before.

Yep - otherwise your intestinal tract would be in a bit of trouble considering just how damaging stomach acid is to your unprotected tissue. Though I wouldn't go so far as to call it absolutely neutral, my guess is it'd be somewhere in the basic-neutral (5-7) range. Hurray for not really coming out of anatomy last semester with thorough knowledge of the body!
